Are your heads compostable?
Our heads are made of 95% raw bamboo and 5% sustainably sourced materials (including cornstarch PLA and plant-based castor nut oil bristles). The bamboo part is compostable in home composts, while the remaining 5% can be recycled at a local facility.

What are the bristles made of?
Our bristles are plant-based, crafted from castor seed oil, and BPA-free. Although they break down in a home composting environment, it takes time, so we can't officially label them as compostable. Still, they offer a better alternative to petroleum-based bristles, gradually returning to nature.

Does your brush head rotate?
No, our electric toothbrush uses sonic cleaning technology with up to 38,000 vibrations per minute. Unlike rotating heads, which require composite materials, we prioritize sustainable materials like bamboo for a more eco-friendly product.

Can bamboo toothbrushes give you splinters?
Our bamboo replacement heads are carefully polished and treated to ensure they are smooth and splinter-free. Every head undergoes strict quality control before packaging.

How do I prevent bamboo toothbrushes from getting moldy?
To prevent mold, dry the bristles and handle after each use. Avoid leaving the toothbrush in a wet environment, such as standing water. Dentists recommend replacing heads every 2-3 months. Air-drying your electric toothbrush will keep it mold-free.

What is the handle made of?
The handle is made from durable, recyclable plastic with a bamboo finish. This design minimizes risks like water absorption and ensures the safety of internal electronics. Real bamboo handles posed issues with durability and water resistance.

Do you sell Philips Sonicare compatible heads?
Yes! We have Philips Sonicare compatible bamboo heads that offer a sustainable alternative to plastic replacements.

Do you offer Oral-B compatible heads?
Yes! We offer Oral-B compatible heads made from sustainably sourced cornstarch PLA and plant-based castor nut oil bristles.

How often should I replace the toothbrush head?
We recommend replacing the head every 2 months for optimal cleaning. Our subscription service delivers fresh heads to your door every 2 months, ensuring you never forget to change them!

Is the toothbrush safe for sensitive teeth and gums?
Yes, our sonic toothbrush offers gentle yet effective cleaning, ideal for sensitive teeth and gums. The sonic vibrations remove plaque without the harshness of manual brushing.
