HOW TO RECYCLE / COMPOST THE BAMBOO ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH HEADS?
Our 100% non-GMO replacement heads are carved from compostable raw bamboo and feature plant-based bristles derived from castor oil. The bamboo head and the cornstarch inner part can be fully composted, typically decomposing in around six months, while a plastic one takes hundreds of years to break down.
Note: The bristles are made from Nylon 1010, which is derived from castor oil rather than petroleum-based sources. While this is a more sustainable alternative, they are not fully compostable. We recommend removing the bristles before composting the head for proper disposal.
CAN THE TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLES BE COMPOSTED?

Some brands offer completely synthetic-free bristles made from animal-derived materials, such as boar hair. However, these are not a vegan option and go against our ethics. Additionally, natural animal bristles tend to harbor bacteria more easily, raising hygiene concerns.

HOW SHOULD I DISPOSE OF THE TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLES?
Since they are still a type of nylon, the best way to dispose of them is to place them in the recycling bin along with other synthetic materials.
For easy disposal, we recommend using pliers to remove the bristles, taping them together, and then placing them in your local recycling bin. This helps ensure they are collected properly without scattering.
If your local recycling program does not accept small nylon items, you may need to check for specialized recycling programs that handle synthetic materials.
WHY IS THE BAMBOO ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH HANDLE PLASTIC?
Our bamboo electric toothbrush base is made of plastic as per safety regulations and waterproof requirements. If it was up to us, we would love to have a 100% bamboo product, however for the electrical components to work and for the toothbrush to follow the strict safety requirements for customers use, the base needs to have an IPX7 rating, which ours does.
HOW TO DISPOSE OF THE BAMBOO ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH BASE?
When your toothbrush eventually meets the end of its life, please recycle it as an electric appliance knowing that electronic components can be easily separated from the outer shell. Please check your local recycling facilities, and follow their directions accordingly.
CAN THE BAMBOO TOOTHBRUSH HEAD FIT MY CURRENT ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH?
We manufacture Bamboo toothbrush heads for own toothbrush base, as well as have options for Philips Sonicare Electric toothbrushes.
We initially studied the possibility of manufacturing compatible heads for other brands as well, however, after a review of Goby; Colgate & Oral-B heads design, we concluded that they cannot be made using raw bamboo given that each head contains rotating parts. This can only be done in plastic unfortunately, therefore we cannot do much.

Please allow an order processing time of 2-3 days; we’ll send your tracking number within that time. Shipping takes up to 14 business days in most cases:

Our bamboo products are made in China, as bamboo thrives best in the Asian climate. To minimize our carbon footprint, we ship most international orders directly from our manufacturer, reducing unnecessary intermediaries such as mega warehouses.
For U.S. orders, we ship from our local warehouse in Pennsylvania (PA), USA, ensuring faster delivery times and reliable fulfillment.
Regardless of your location, we use only premium shipping lines to ensure a safe and smooth delivery.
HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
You will receive an email once your order ships that contains your tracking information. Simply click the link and instantly track your parcel.

HOW SECURE IS YOUR SITE?
Payments are processed using the Shopify payment gateway. Shopify Payment is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification. We take security very seriously, all payments are verified by Shopify to prevent fraud.
CAN I AMEND MY ORDER?
We would be glad to accept amendments requested within 1 hour after your order as been placed. After 1 hour, amendment is no longer possible in most cases as we fulfill orders automatically. Please send us a message as soon as possible so that we can do our best.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?
You have 30 days from the delivery date of your order to request a return for your purchase. The items must have all their labels and be in perfect condition. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. If the merchandise is damaged when received or defective within 30 days, we will happily provide a replacement.
I MADE A MISTAKE IN MY ADDRESS, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you made a mistake in your order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. In most cases, we’ll be able to make the required change to your order before it ships.
If your order has already shipped to the wrong address, the only thing that can be done is to wait for the relevant Post company to return your order to us so that we can resend it to the correct address. In an event of loss or destruction of merchandise, we will not be responsible. Sustainable Tomorrow is not held liable for shipping errors where addresses were incorrectly or insufficiently inputted by customer.
